I just found this great tutorial over at Gracie Lou's Quilt Shoppe blog showing another way to gather fabric. I've never seen this method before, but will definitely be giving it a try. I love learning new techniques!

That looks like a good technique. If you aren't super careful, the lines will overcross, and then it will get stuck.
You're right. I thought the same thing. I can't imagine doing it on a really long piece either. I'm going to have to give it a try.
